The VIX is at a crossroads.
It simply cannot stay where it is.
In the next few days, the VIX index is either heading right back to 25, or above 40.
I can tell you, the VIX curve does not stay flat like this for very long:
The VIX futures are backward between July and September.
At the same time the VIX is trading below the July future.
The VIX is over 30.
These are just not things we see often and point toward a market that is nearing a decision point.
It could be days, I firmly believe we are heading for a nasty vol move.
