Time for a Cruise?

Hi Shoppers,

Remember your senior trip?

My class at Curie High Schoo in Chicagol had around 800 seniors, but only about 50 of us went on the school trip.

It was a Caribbean cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.

It was fabulous!

I have great memories of shopping with my mom for new outfits beforehand.

I also had to pay for half the trip with my earnings from McDonald’s. (My son, not so much.)

That’s a lot of saving.

We drank Heiniken beer and had a shaving cream fight with a rival high school that was actually from the neighborhood.

We could feel a bad storm while we were on the dance floor one night. It was literally hard to stand let alone dance.

The ship was huge.

The food was fabulous.

We dressed up for the Captain’s Dinner.

All kinds of fancy.

I can’t even imagine what these cruise ships are like now.

They are literally floating cities.

And they have recently done away with the Covid Testing requirements.

This should help these stocks, right?

Let’s take a look at Carnival Cruise Lines stock chart and a trade idea.

Carnival Comes to Town

The travel and cruise stocks have gotten hammered.

I think it may be time for Carnival Cruise Lines (Ticker:  CCL) to pull itself up off the mat.

Check out the stock chart:

CCL has honored the support level at $8.38 more than a few times.

I think it can trade back up to that resistance line at $11.44.

The Aug. 19 19 calls are trading and can be had for around $.75:

Use that support level for your stop loss.
