Hi Shoppers,
With this midterm election coming up, all I am hearing is the term “suburban housewife.”
I am not so sure I like that term or to be generalized in such a way.
Do I live in the suburbs? Yes. (Well, until about a month ago.)
But as a city-dweller it was my biggest fear, I admit it.
Am I someone’s wife? Yes. … And I’m a Mom.
And I do remember standing in the Cboe pit with all the guys, thinking their wives had such boring lives and I would never want that?
Then we decided to have a child and I left the pit at six months pregnant.
It was the best thing I ever did in my life!
Of course, once my son was a year old I was pulling my hair out.
So I went to interior design school four nights a week.
My husband is the best, I still owe him for that.
Anyway, I am a bit offended when they group all us “suburban housewives” as the same lot.
Do they say all doctors, lawyers, or traders will vote the same?
No, they do not.
Am I the same as every other mom/wife that lives in the burbs?
I don’t think so!
We did have some fun playdates, though.
Thanks for listening – and I have a new trade idea in Halliburton (Ticker: HAL) for you.
HAL Yeah!
Looking at the Halliburton (Ticker: HAL) chart, I am thinking it looks ready to break out:
It has been coiling since earnings were announced and has a nice bullish green candle formed yesterday.
I will be watching for HAL to trade above $37.50 or so, for a while, and I will be a buyer of the Nov11 37.50 calls:
I think HAL will trade back up to its previous high of $43.
Trade Review
OK, I called it. Delta Airlines (Ticker: DAL) traded down to $31 yesterday. I was looking for $31.50. Watch out, could bounce from here.
I also called for General Motors (Ticker: GM) to trade lower from $39.67 and it traded down to a low of $37.65 yesterday. I am still seeing next support at $37.00.
Thanks for Reading … See You Next Tuesday.
