Crude oil futures have been trading a range for some time now:
Yesterday they finally busted out of that consolidation.
You can see it on the United States Oil Fund (Ticker: USO) also:
I have recommended this to my Option Shoppers today so they are already in at a better level.
But it isn’t too late for you.
USO looks to trade up to $75-$76.
I like the Feb07 expiration:
The 73 calls would be a good purchase.
Use a close below $71.50 for your stop loss.

Merck (Ticker: MRK) did not make its breakout until the close yesterday.
I’d be looking at next week’s at the money calls.
