Cap Gains Watchlist 10.03.2022

Dear Cap Gainers,

Below is the Watchlist Plus that I am watching from the original lists from Frank and Griff for names that are important.  Anytime option pricing or underlying pricing moves to an extreme or a significant event is at hand, I will add to our active list.

Right now I am looking for cheaper implied volatility, since that is the counter trend going on.  In my active watch list that will show up in green on the Sigma on the right.  Where Sigma is more expensive, I would be looking to sell options or sell what I own.

SHEL

With the lower IV here I am looking to set up a long strangle. I am looking for a stock trend to develop.

VALE

Solid 5 day up trend and still very cheap options.  I do like this to gain strength as huge uncertainty is out of the Brazil elections.

CLF

CLF is breaking the longer term downtrend and IVs are now much more expensive.  I am looking to close my last puts there.

SAND

Sandstorm Gold LTD is a Bill favorite and just really cheap options.  I think this makes a better long term trade call buy as it is trendless currently.

F

10 day downswing in F is just over and options in the short term are relatively cheap.  We do have F trade on and it is time to lever the upside now.

GOLD

Most gold stocks look like Barrick Gold Corp (Ticker: GOLD) here.  Relatively cheap option prices and 5 day upside stock trends.

PLTR

Options are relatively expensive in Palantir Tech. Corp (Ticker: PLTR).  I like selling the $7 strike puts here.
