Hey Traders,
The top 5 markets for EV sales are California (24%); D.C. (20%); Washington State (17%); Oregon (16%); and Nevada (15%).
Tesla (Ticker: TSLA) is the undeniable leader in EV production and sales.
F and GM were nipping at TSLA heels, but they now have UAW problems.
One maker that does not is Rivian Automotive (Ticker: RIVN), which has seen an solid uptick in sales and deliveries in 2023.
The company has been executing since going public.
It has entered into a delivery partnership with Amazon to produce 100,000 electric delivery vans by 2030.
RIVN also made the wise decision to utilize TSLA chargers and charging stations.
It recently announced that it would adopt TSLA’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) in all new cars by 2025.
As such, by spring, 2024, RIVN owners will be able to use adapters to access Tesla’s, Supercharger network, with its roughly 12,000 fast charging stations throughout the US and Canada.
That makes owning one more palatable.
And that should help sales.
Let’s make a call.
