This semi stock just printed a sell signal

Hi Shoppers,

How about a chart with a double top AND a doji at the median line resistance AND confirmation to boot?

That stock is our stinker this week, and it is Marvell Technology (MRVL):

MRVL will trade down to the 20-day moving average at $152.52, then $147.69, and possibly $143.59.

Use a close over $162.70 as your stop loss.

MRVL is a major fabless semiconductor company that designs high-performance chips for networking, storage, compute, and connectivity. The focus is AI, cloud, and data centers.

It provides semiconductors for:

  1. Data Center & AI – Ethernet switches, optical DSPs, interconnects, custom ASICs, and accelerators (a major growth driver).
  2. Networking – Enterprise, carrier, and cloud networking solutions.
  3. Storage – HDD/SSD controllers and accelerators.
  4. Other – Automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

The stock to buy calls in this week is possibly Exxon Mobil (XOM):

See that candle from Thursday. It is a possible dragonfly doji sitting right on support.

A dragonfly doji signals a change in trend. In this case, a downtrend ending.

We need to wait for confirmation that the stock is trading higher.

Once Exxon clears $147.50 and trades there for a while, hop into some calls and ride it back up to $152.44.

Use a close below $147 as your stop loss.

Exxon is one of the world's largest integrated oil and gas companies. It explores, produces, refines, and markets oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals globally.

The company operates in three main segments:

  1. Upstream – Oil and gas exploration/production (biggest profit driver).
  2. Downstream – Refining, fuels, and lubricants.
  3. Chemical – Petrochemical products.

Exxon has a strong focus on low-carbon investments, carbon capture, and hydrogen while maintaining traditional energy production. The company is known for operational discipline, massive scale, and a 40-plus year dividend growth streak.

Now I'm curious if one of my picks will become the basis for the next high-probability option the crew chooses Monday on the Ticker Highlight Premium show.

Here’s how it works: On Monday’s State of the Market at 10 AM ET, each of us will reveal which stock we loved for the week, and the one we hated.
