Hey Traders,
The S&P 500 looked pretty good most of the day … until 3:30 ET. Then this happened:
The market was giving us a little reminder it can move on a dime for little or no reason.
This selloff was despite a decent bond auction and VIX dropping and heading back toward 20.
Just goes to show you how nervous this market really is.
That said, VIX remained in a contango:
And the bond market behaved after some early selling.
I’m not sure, but keep an eye on the 10 year today. Might be something Japan related overnight that might have caused this … we’ll see.
Andrew closed his first of many winning trades – get in while there is still time to join Rip Zone at the founders price. This week, Andrew is going to be walking through the entire strategy with Rip Zone Traders – so this is the time to join. Plus the trading environment for this strategy is GREAT. Click here to join.
Reviewing Yesterday’s Trade
Everything looked perfect for a very long time. Then something hit the tape at 3:30 ET … but it held on long enough for the trade to break even. We will have another go today.
…Today’s Outlook
No major events, a sell off on the close. Look for down on the open and then a potential flip. That’s if there isn’t a blow up in Japan overnight.
