Hey Traders,

 

At the moment, General Electric (Ticker: GE) is struggling to trade over stiff resistance here at the $85 level.

 

That resistance goes back to the fourth quarter of 2021:

It has been bumping up to this level for the past month without being able to bust out over it.

 

GE has built out a base and formed a double bottom at $50 and has since rallied.

 

With the 50-day moving average just below here at $80.55, I think GE will trade over this resistance level.

 

Once it does, it will trade up to the next resistance level at $90 and then, of course, on to $100.

 

The 200 DMA e comes in at $75, providing support below here.
