Hi Shoppers,
Wow! What a week.
Did you see that close on Friday?
The whole week seemed to be fits and starts.
Open lower and trade higher, open lower trade higher …
Here is the five-minute chart on the S&P 500 (Ticker: SPX) for the week:
The market looked like it really wanted to rally.
That is until St. Louis Fed president James Bullard made his comments about supporting a half-point rate hike instead of a quarter point.
I have also heard that two algo groups got together to form a selloff.
People who manipulate the market – and hurt retail traders in the process – annoy me.
You may be wondering if I still think the Profit Window is still open after all that.
Here’s what I think.
A Peek in the Window
All week I kept saying this market is testing everyone and their mother.
Even grandma!
The bulls, the bears, the premium sellers.
The only ones enjoying this kind of gyration are the backspreaders.
The guys holding calls and puts (real or synthetically) that can scalp back-and-forth for a profit.
So, am I still bullish?
Good question!
That S&P 500 (Ticker: SPX) level that I have been telling you is so crucial has been tested from the upside and the downside and literally closed right there on Friday!!
That’s right, $4,080:
If you look at the big picture, we are still in that consolidation mode.
Now, the tricky part is, are we trading higher next week or will the market kiss that support/resistance level and trade lower?
I found it pretty amazing that the S&P seemed to try and sell-off all day but rallied at the very end to close level.
The Invesco QQQ Trust (Ticker: QQQ) did that same thing, closing right at its crucial support/resistance level at $301:
The iShares Russell 2000 Index ETF (Ticker: IWM) was actually up on the day:
It has been the leader of the overall market lately.
Also, Bitcoin (TIcker: BTCUSD) and Ethereum (Ticker: ETHUSD) are trading quite a bit higher.
I’ll say this … I think we are in for another interesting week – and I see HUGE profit potential.
I’m going live Tuesday with my next Option Shopper Shopping Spree and trade pick.
And I’m targeting 75% gains on 8-10 trades over the next four weeks.
Take action now so you don’t miss out.
Thanks for Reading … See You Next Tuesday,
