Time to Toot My Horn

Hi Shoppers,

If you joined us at our fabulous live event, our Trade Fest II this week, you heard me call for the markets to trade higher.

That was Wednesday.

And here is what we did yesterday:

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (Ticker: SPY) up $4.00 or 1.01%

S&P 500 (Ticker: SPX) up $39.05 or 0.99%

Invesco QQQ Trust (Ticker: QQQ) up $4.35 or 1.44%

iShares Russell 2000 Index (TIcker: IWM) up $0.92 or 0.51%

When we put ourselves out there with predictions on the markets or specific stocks AND we are correct, we have to call attention to it.

We need to toot our own horns, because no one else is going to do it!

Ha!

Toot, toot!

I am seeing some resistance at these levels, so you may want to wait for a pull back to get hop in on the long side of this rally.

Also, take a look at all of these charts and you will see this formation the last three days:

This candle formation is bullish and says the rally will continue, but since it has already rallied quite a bit, wait for the pull back to enter the long side.

Now time for another prediction …

Here is where I think gold is going.

Here is the Gold Futures chart:

Do you see what I see?

Yep, it is a bullish engulfing candle created yesterday, with good size volume.

I think gold could be bottoming here.

Take a look at the Newmont Corp (Ticker: NEM) chart:

NEM has had a massive down trend since its high of $86.37 on April 18th – which was a doji, by the way.

NEM closed at $52.09 yesterday.

Watch for a higher opening and follow through on the upside.

Also, earnings are on Monday, so you may want to wait for that and allow the vol to seep out a bit.

Trade Review

Alibaba (Ticker: BABA) is still looking bullish to me.

Also, Citigroup (Ticker: C) still looks like it is ready to breakout higher.

Thanks for Reading … See You Next Tuesday.
