Hi Shoppers,
Like me, many of you are glued to your TV/phone/computer, keeping track of the happenings in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian people truly seem to be strong, resilient, tough and patriotic.
Authorities have handed out 18,000 rifles and trained volunteers
College students are making Molotov cocktails.
The Ukrainians have, remarkably, been able to hold onto their capital city of Kyiv.
There are so many inspiring stories.
From the Mom holding her baby in a bomb shelter who said her job was to stand firm and let the world know what is happening …
To the crowd taking shelter in the subway singing the national anthem together …
To the 13 soldiers on Snake Island who knew they were going to die by the hand of the Russian navy and told the warship to “go eff yourself.”
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy certainly adds to this spirit by sending out videos of himself standing on the street in Kyiv, proving he is not backing down.
Before Russia invaded he told them, “You will see our faces, not our backs.”
He refused help to escape saying, “The fight is here. I need ammunition, not a ride.”
Zelenskyy is a former actor and comedian with a law degree. His most famous acting role was as president of Ukraine in the series Servant of the People, which is also the name of his political party.
He won over 73% of the vote in the 2019 election running as an anti-establishment candidate.
Maybe we Americans can learn a thing or two. I am certainly questioning myself as to whether I would be able to do what it takes.
I am cheering and praying for the Ukrainians.
They are truly inspiring.

As for the week ahead in our trading, here’s my next idea …
Served Up
Check out this stock chart, Fiserv (Ticker: FISV):
FISV has a bullish engulfing candle with confirmation on Friday. It has also definitively broken out of that downtrend line and closed above it.
If FISV opens and trades higher tomorrow, I would be a buyer of the March. 11 98 calls:
As you can see, the markets are a bit wide and there isn’t a ton of volume or open interest.
I think FISV can trade back to $108, so I think it is worth buying these calls.
I would pay around $1.90 for Mar11 99 calls.
I will take my loss if they trade down to $1.30, and I will begin to take profits over $3.30.
Thanks for Reading … See You Next Tuesday.
