Do you know what singularity means?

I didn’t until I had this conversation with our managing editor:

Charlie D: Know anything about “the singularity”?

Licia: What’s that?

Charlie D: It’s when technology and humans merge. It’s how we are seeing all the stuff with glasses that have internet connections and display stuff for us. I’m pretty sure they’re working on contacts that would do that, and eventually they’d work on chips that are implanted into people.

Licia: UGH. What a freaking nightmare. Sorry, I just don’t see how this is good for humankind.

Charlie D: Eh, it could be ok, it could be the matrix. We may have to just turn off the electricity someday. It’s all a bit crazy.

Now, I have actually seen the Meta Platforms (META) glasses in person. I am not a fan, but to each his own.

But when Charlie said chip into people. That just makes my hair stand up.

I am telling you all this because our very own Income Trader Hans Albrecht is going to give us his take on all this new technology and how he plans to profit from it.

I am intrigued to say the least. I do not want chips in my future grandchildren.
