We’ve got some big numbers coming out this week with the CPI and PPI inflation numbers. These will likely tip the scales ahead of the FOMC’s live announcement on Wednesday the 17th. Either way, my Two-Way Trades are positioned to capitalize.
Amid all of this, the relentless pace of technological innovation continues in the U.S. and around the world. While the U.S. government may attempt to micromanage interest rates and politicians revisit long-abandoned economic theories, progress doesn’t wait.
And sometimes, it surprises us.
Quantumscape Inc (Ticker: QS) is displaying some live tech
I hold a long position in this stock across a couple of Option Pit products—specifically in Pro and Cap Gains. In Pro, I was assigned shares, while in Cap Gains, I’m holding some out-of-the-money calls.
The headline below highlights the company’s push to bring its solid-state lithium cells to market.
QS traded as high as $150 during the 2021–2022 peak of the meme stock frenzy and the Green Energy boom.

Recently, the stock has been trading around $16 as the technology moves closer to commercial production. Volkswagen holds a stake in the company. I’m holding onto my shares—and even adding to the position.
Two sharp moves in this stock over the past two months suggest it’s getting closer to delivering a potential game-changer. That’s also a positive sign for lithium producers—good news for our long position in Lithium Americas Corp (Ticker: LAC).
This week, all eyes are on the upcoming PPI and CPI releases on Wednesday and Thursday. If the data comes in tame, I expect SPY to rally. Either way, I’ll be positioned for the move in Weekly Profit Cycles.
