Let your fingers do the walking

Yo Pit Crazies!

While everyone’s arguing about soybeans and tariffs, a boring construction company just became a nuclear moonshot – and it’s sitting at 70% of its market cap.

Fluor Corp (FLR) made a quiet investment in nuclear startup Nuscale Power Co (SMR). That “tidy investment” is now worth $5 billion. Do the math – that’s 70% of FLR’s entire market capitalization from ONE bet.

Here’s the kicker: On a day when FLR hit new highs, institutional money is STILL loading up on out-of-the-money calls.

Someone knows something.

The AI Energy Reality Check

All this AI news needs massive energy.

Sorry to my Green Friends, but the only place that’s coming from is oil and nuclear. I think there’s a place for solar on rooftops, but solar at scale doesn’t match nuclear energy dollar for dollar.

The math is simple: AI data centers are energy monsters. A single ChatGPT query uses 10x more power than a Google search. When every company goes full AI, where’s that electricity coming from?

Wind farms that work when it’s breezy?

Nuclear is the only baseload power that can handle AI’s 24/7 energy appetite without choking the grid.

Trump’s Nuclear Play

The USA doesn’t have a coherent nuclear policy right now. That’s about to change with the Trump Administration flexing industrial policy on critical infrastructure.

When they greenlight expanded nuclear power generation, guess who’s building those Small Modular Reactor plants?

Fluor Corp.

They’re not just invested in Small Modular Reactors (SMR) – they’re positioned to build the actual facilities.

The Trade Setup

I spotted a longer-term call buyer who grabbed FLR Jun18 70 calls for around $1.00 back in early August after disappointing earnings.

Option Fingerprint of the Jun18 2026 Cycle

That was genius timing – buying the dip before the nuclear story broke wide.

Even better: FLR just sold shares in their SMR investment for over $600 million. That’s 8% of FLR’s market cap, and they STILL own 39% of the company.

They’re taking profits while keeping the moonshot upside.

My Fingerprint Action

Fluor Corp checks all my boxes: earnings jump from asset sales, technical bounce, and steady institutional option buying. I picked up shares today because this isn’t just a trade – it’s positioning for the nuclear buildout that’s coming.

When nuclear policy gets the green light, FLR transforms from boring construction stock to infrastructure moonshot.

The smart money is already there.

Finding where the smart money is before everyone else is what my “option fingerprints” are all about.

The Real Trade War

Oh, and about those soybeans and China trade noise – that’s yesterday’s fight.

The real battle is energy independence through nuclear power. While politicians argue about agricultural tariffs, the serious money is betting on the infrastructure that powers America’s AI future.

China’s got their energy strategy.

Time we had ours.
