AI Note I include semiconductors twice because every decade they invent a new way to use them. They still have the old way so the growth in the Semiconductor industry is nuts and I just realized that as I am writing this. The easiest way for investors to dive in is the Market Vectors Semiconductor Index ETF (Ticker: SMH). In the old days we traded the PHILex Semiconductor index (Ticker: SOX)

Apple Inc (Ticker: AAPL) is not really riding the AI wave. Neither it appears to be Tesla Inc (Ticker: TSLA) but I think one day, in the not too distant future, TSLA will sell way more robots than cars. They likely will have a gaggle of Nvidia Corp (Ticker: NVDA) chips in their heads.

That could set up a trade.

It is time for long TSLA, short AAPL

I own NVDA through SMH so I am not going to concern myself with that right now. I started buying call butterflies in TSLA but it was early so far. It did not dawn on me to short AAPL as a hedge until I realized the Mega Trend for smartphones is pettering out due to its own success. Mark has a clever trick to invest in some of the Big Cap names so I will save it for his webinar tonight.

Right now my downside target for AAPL is $150 while money goes other places, like TSLA for instance.
