Here’s the biggest news this week, how it will move markets, my top stocks to watch, and how you can trade the news…

Today, I am focused on:

• Jerome Powell’s Federal Reserve rate-hike update this Wednesday
• Earnings reports in some of the Magnificent 7 stocks – GOOGL, MSFT, and META… and
• The NASDAQ 100 Rebalance ripple effects this week.

Here’s exactly what you can do:

1) Watch XHB, RCC, and BAM… because if the Fed is hawkish (raising interest) on Wednesday, we could see a move lower. I’ll trade these stocks this week in Nitro Trader when I see the perfect opportunity to get in.

2) Don’t hold options through earnings on GOOGL, MSFT, and META this week. If you had money in these names for rebalance plays – as we did in my Nitro Trader group – take your profit. We will be looking ahead to AMZN with earnings next week. Remember, when it comes to earnings, “Trade to it, not through it – then after.”
