This Chip Stock Has Given Up

Yo, Pit Crazies,

The chart you see below is a tale of woe.

A once-great behemoth has been laid low.

I want to add it to my OP Mentoring Div+ strategy … but I am on the fence.

Will this trade idea help?

INTC is no longer inside

Nvidia Inc.(Ticker: NVDA) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Ticker: AMD) are inside the computer.

At least that is what my tech-savvy sons say.

As for Intel Corporation (Ticker: INTC(, they just laugh at the “boomerness” of “Intel Inside.”

The trade that I have used that is working well enough is broken wing put butterflies just out-of-the-money for modest debits or credits.

Every time it gets to the short strike, I close and do it again.

It’s a fine generator, and for now that is all that is there that I can see.

I would like to add it to the OP Mentoring Div+ strategy, but I need to see INTC stop going down first.

Elsewhere, as a lookahead for tonight’s live event

The juice in steel stocks looks cheap going into the railroad strike.

The Rundown

OP Mentoring

I closed my INTC Sep16 32/30.5/28 put butterfly closed for a 35% gain.  Will likely reload today.  The Oct or Nov cycle to catch the dividend looks interesting.

To Your Trading Success,

AG
