Let It Snow … Please No

How many calories can you burn shoveling snow?

That’s all I could think of while I was dying.

We received around 7 to 8 inches here, but it felt like it could have been a foot deep.

It may not look like much but I had to do that whole driveway.

It took me just over an hour.

You know there is a proper way to shovel snow.

The trick is to use your legs.

If you aren’t bending your knees, you are putting too much pressure on your back.

Shoveling snow is definitely a cardio workout.

People have had heart attacks while shoveling.

So the whole time I was suffering all I could think of was how many calories I was burning … it had to be a lot

The weather was perfect though, 24 degrees and no wind.

The air was crisp and refreshing.

It was actually gorgeous out there.

Really beautiful once I was finished.

Oh, according to LiveStrong:

Shoveling snow burns about 223 calories in 30 minutes (for a 155-pound person). A 125-pound person would burn 180 calories in the same amount of time, and a 185-pound individual burns 266.

So, two free glasses of wine for me!

Or maybe a nice Coke …

Still Fizzy

While Meta (Ticker: FB) decimated the overall market Thursday, Coca-Cola (Ticker:  KO) remained strong and actually closed at a new high.

Look at yesterday’s candle:

KO looks VERY bullish to me.

If it opens and trades higher this morning, I will be a buyer of next week’s, Feb. 11 62-strike calls:

I will pay around $.75 for these.

KO has its earnings announcement on Thursday, so I will probably out of them before that.

Thanks for Reading … See You Next Tuesday.
