The 25K Wall Just Came Down

Hi Shoppers,

It is officially official: there is no longer a pattern day trading rule or account requirement.

Woohoo!

This means you no longer need $25,000 to open and close a trade on the same day.

You can now day trade with as little as $2000 in your account.

There is just too much money to be made in this sector.

This just goes to show you the amount of interest and option volume trading everyday.

Which equals trading opportunity; the more liquid the markets are the cheaper you can get in and the easier it is to sell while maintaining your gains.

The official day is June 4, 2026.

If you use Schwab’s Think or Swim the official day is June 8, 2026.

All brokerage firms have until October 20, 2027 to implement this new system.

Also, individual brokers may set their own "house" requirements (often higher than regulatory minimums), so check directly with Schwab for your account specifics. Cash accounts are unaffected by PDT rules (but have T+1 or T+2 settlement limits). Futures/options may have separate rules.

This is great news as there are an infinite number of trades that can be made in a single day across the indices and individual stocks.

Be on the lookout for how to join me in making these trades.
