Option Pit was born from a simple observation: retail traders were being taught options by people who had never made their living trading them. The so-called “experts” were theorists, not practitioners.
Our founders spent their careers in the trading pits of Chicago and New York, where every decision meant money won or lost instantly. They learned from the best market makers and traders in the world, in an environment where only the skilled survived.
After successful careers as floor traders, market makers, and hedge fund managers, they realized their expertise could help everyday traders avoid costly mistakes and build sustainable trading businesses.
