It’s Time For …

My Favorite Stock this Week

This beauty is the ONLY major rare earth mining and processing facility in North America!

It owns and operates the Mountain Pass mine in California, focused on producing rare earth materials that are absolutely CRITICAL for technologies like electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense systems. It’s also developing a magnet manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

This company is a key player in reducing the U.S. reliance on foreign rare earth supplies, particularly from China, which totally dominates the global market right now.

My favorite stock this week is… drum roll please… MP Materials (MP):

It had a huge day on Monday popping into my second channel and trading above the median line (red). It has since had a pullback but it is honoring my pitchfork support staying in the channel.

My price target is $100.25 and then $107.36.

Use a close below the support line as your stop loss at $87.39. Pretty darn straightforward!

On the flip side …

My Least Favorite Stock This Week

General Mills, Inc. (GIS) is a leading multinational food company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This thing has been around FOREVER – founded way back in 1856! It manufactures and markets branded consumer foods worldwide, with a portfolio including iconic brands like Cheerios, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Old El Paso, Häagen-Dazs, and Blue Buffalo (pet food).

The company operates through four main segments: North America Retail (e.g., cereals, snacks, baking mixes; ~70% of revenue), International (Europe, Asia, Latin America), Pet (premium pet foods), and North America Foodservice (Yoplait, Progresso).

But here’s the problem – the stock is FAILING some significant support here that has been tested in the past:

Today the stock is retesting that old support, now new resistance from below, which you will use as your stop loss, a close above $48.37.

I think the stock will trade down to the bottom of the pitchfork at $44.21.

Sometimes you’ve got to call them like you see them, and this one’s looking rough!

Trade Accordingly,
