Before I get into anything, I need to talk to you about how important it is that you make sure you are on the attendee list for the live event we’re hosting on Wednesday.

As more and more data comes in it will be clear a lot or most of the economic growth in the last 2 years was government spending and government jobs. The USA is now trying to undo that so future growth can get on a better footing. Sentiment is still poor due to the uncertainty over tariff policy that keeps getting mentioned. Higher house prices are not helping either.
So traders have to gauge how bad things might get before it all gets better?

VIX cash keeps rising relative to VIX futures
This is always a worrying sign and right now consistent with how much emphasis the market is putting on Nvidia Inc (Ticker: NVDA) earnings tomorrow. It also is a signal that the market is caught “in between” when the VIX cash line, green, is stuck between the two ends of the future curve.
VIX cash is up 5 days in a row which is very unusual. That is a very consistent bid for options which means traders are buying them.

Right now the narrative is on never ending chip demand and this market needs to see that happen. Trading on Tuesday pushed stocks to 5900 only to get near unchanged on the day. The Semiconductor/D.O.G.E. rescue theme is still the stronger one. However…
0 net economic growth for a year is not something that a stock market at all-time highs usually does. Wednesday will be the same as Tuesday until NVDA earnings can right the ship. That would be amazing after the last 3 days.
