Yo Pit Crazies,
What a great week! We gave out a nice VIX trade to our viewers on Thursday’s for Zero Theta and it was paying by Friday. We also gave out a plan of action to follow which in hindsight looks pretty darn good.
That is trading. Make a plan and follow the plan. The market maelstrom that hit in the Mini-Gamma bomb on Wednesday took on a life of its own and launched volatility to the moon for a short period of time. That messed up a very carefully laid out plan to grab some end of year freebie options. VIX had other ideas.
The quick spike in VIX did not last but the all clear sign is not here yet. But some stocks, the all clear sign is here. That should green light some Zero Theta goodies.

Apple Inc (Ticker: AAPL) options are crazy cheap
Note that after a $10 move down and up in AAPL the option volatilities are right back to the same number. The January volatility is the brown line on the bottom and it is barely a ripple with AAPLback to all time highs.
Whatever is happening AAPL does not matter because traders want to take it higher and the options are back to volatility in the teen’s. Crazy cheap options for the next 4 weeks.
