Yo Pit Crazies,
I was out for this week from Tuesday to Friday. My big event was putting my dad, Capt Felix Anthony Giovinazzi, USN, to rest in Arlington National Cemetery with full honors. It is not something you see every day.
400,000 stones at Arlington. As the pastor said, “The most valuable earth in the USA because the cost was so dear.”
Below is the view from his spot on the hill below the chapel.
Everything in Arlington is pristine and ordered. The place has a solemn grandeur that I had yet to experience. The teamwork from the sailors is impressive.
