Yo pit crazies!
Day six of the Ice Report and the bergs are running out to sea.
The top picture has a nice little critter footprint near the middle of the big berg in the center of the screen.
I have no idea what the critter is, but I think they are fox prints. The fox is back looking for Chicken a la Maine and I will make sure he does not get it.
Monday was too rainy to get Day eight, but I will be back out for Day nine. You will all see the seasonal clockwork that is running in the Great State of Maine.
Stocks Remembered How to Go Up
Remember when the only thing that mattered in the news cycle was the Fed and interest rates?
Well, with oil at $100 per barrel, that is not going to be good for inflation.
That makes the next FOMC announcement, this week on Wednesday, a little problematic.
Do I think they use the term "transitory" again?
Maybe, but traders started to discount the Iran conflict in a hurry Monday.

SPY 12 Day Chart
This is about the time I start looking at longer-term trades. My guess is this oil impasse lasts another couple of weeks, my end of ice season, but for now this is what we have.
But for now, my eyes are on VIX…
VIX closed below 24
The fact we cannot hold Zone 4 with a conflict around the most sensitive economic spot this side of Taiwan is astounding. That is what we have. S&P 500 Trust ETF (SPY) jumped near 1.3 percent Monday, and iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM) jumped near 2.78 percent.
As we said in the Ticker Highlight Show, EEM tracks net oil importers. When those countries jump, traders see things getting better faster.
Scanner Goodies Are Cooking
Speaking of better faster, my scanner is almost done and is listing stocks close to a 10 percent rebound off the low. Chewy (CHWY), Novo Nordisk (NVO), and Domino's Pizza (DPZ) are getting there. Once they trip 10 percent, my scanner will go into overdrive watching them so I don't have to.
