Fall is coming and seasons change. It keeps reminding me that nothing stays the same and we as traders can adapt and adjust. Can an old dog learn new tricks? I think it is possible.
You see, I have been following Licia’s Small Account Challenge and I am making a bit of money. Not killing it yet but the opportunities have been there and I have to say I am enjoying not having to do anything. Licia is doing everything! Trade setup, exits, stops and Pitchfork ranges.
I could get used to this.
So far I have 10 trades placed, 6 wins and 3 loses with an open trade that is down right now. My big total is $595 in gains or 5.9% on my $10,000 balance. (trades at the bottom if you are interested). I am feeling i can meet the trade goals by the end of the challenge.
This has been great for me for several reasons:
I am making some dough and could have done even better and really like Licia’s ideas.
There is tons of fun trading around the ideas.
The trade ideas have low cost and high potential returns. One trade peaked at 400% although I did not catch all of that but Applied Digital Corp (Ticker: APLD) really took off.
Did I say Licia does all the work!
The banter in the chat room is great and other subscribers have good ideas too. I do have a new appreciation for following trade ideas, catching all the alerts and executing the trades in a timely manner. For the most part, I have not had any trouble entering trades if I am paying attention to the alerts Licia puts out.
The Small Account Challenge is a great opportunity for seasoned professionals and newbies alike.
